Newbie Becoming a Photographer

 The beautiful golden sunset in my neighborhood, perfectly captured. Though to be fair, I'm not sure if it's just me playing around with the white balance to make it look good, and if that's cheating or not... because it looks great when I made it just a teensy bit more yellow... Another sunset from the back of the car, on the highway. Honestly, the sky was so pretty and I needed to capture the colors somehow.  I think the rainbow was captured pretty well. Just a side note, I've been trying out some of the "recipes" for Fujifilm, and I'm not sure how much I like grain and noise that people intentionally put with these recipes. Straight lines and clear edges are nice, no? 

       I'm starting this blog to record my journey in photography.       I'm 23, graduated college two years ago. I'm working full time now, and because I have access to adult money, I've decided to first invest in getting equipment for a hobby I've always wanted to start: photography. Throughout the years, I've seen so many photo reels on instagram on tips to make photos better, cool tricks to do with your camera or phone, and with the money it would have cost me to upgrade my iPhone 13 (they're old in 2025, no?)
